Position Summary

The Senior Director of Marketing Communications will play a crucial role in leading, developing, and executing an integrated and holistic communications strategy for the global Infection Prevention (IPT) Business Unit. Collaborating cross-functionally with the IPT General Manager, Healthcare Marketing Vice Presidents, and global Commercial Leaders, this individual will drive the positioning and protection of the IPT brand as a leader in reprocessing. Responsibilities include developing and communicating business unit value propositions across portfolios, overseeing direct downstream programs (including collateral, content, and advertising), and managing external agency partners to deliver high-quality materials.

Duties

 

 Strategic Alignment and Issue Resolution
  - Identify challenges and emerging issues, align with IPT leadership, and execute strategies for internal and external communications.
  - Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Vice President & General Manager, Marketing Vice Presidents, and Commercial leaders.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis
  - Oversee market research initiatives and implement communication strategies based on findings.
  - Proactively develop communication strategies to defend IPT's leadership position by reviewing competitive business and communication activities.

Cross Promotion and Brand Consistency
  - Determine cross-promotion strategies for legacy, acquired, and other Healthcare products and services.
  - Ensure brand consistency across all IPT communication outlets.

Agency Management and Technology Recommendations
  - Select, review, and maintain agreements with outside agency partners.
  - Analyze existing branding/marketing strategies and recommend technology platforms for efficient communication.

Reporting and Budget Management
  - Deliver quarterly and yearly progress reports.
  - Build and manage the annual global Marketing Communications OPEX Budget.

Team Leadership
  - Manage Associates in the Global Marketing Communications team, setting both long- and short-term goals. 

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Masters Degree in Business/Marketing or other related field of study preferred
  • Healthcare/Medical Marketing Communication experience strongly preferred.
  • Global Marketing Communications experience preferred.
