The Role

Bring your experience to STERIS as the Marketing Communications Specialist. In this position, you will work under the direction of the Marketing Manager Communications and be responsible for developing & executing communications programs that drive real-world business results across multiple markets & business units. You should be a strong communications generalist with some multidisciplinary experience which includes digital and traditional media. Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing Communications, you will orchestrate clear, credible, compelling content marketing programs for product launches, major events and ongoing campaigns that support strategic business initiatives. In addition, you will share responsibility for driving continuous improvement within the Communications function, as well as building & enhancing the STERIS brand. 

What You'll Do

  • Manage communications campaigns / programs to meet performance goals, budget and schedule.  
  • Manage all email marketing efforts including database development and maintenance, template creation, campaign execution, nurturing activities and tracking metrics. 
  • The individual will take high-level, technical content and pitch and execute content marketing campaigns to more widely distribute pieces of content.
  • Provide creative input and communications strategy for webpage development. 
  • Provide direction and guidelines for social media interactions within the business units. 
  • Manage STERIS hosted industry webinars and coordinate content creation with product management team. 
  • Develop and execute Trade Show strategies including all trade show outreach initiatives

  • Oversee production of all marketing collateral, sales materials and press releases. 
  • Develop and manage annual marketing calendar for the LS business units. 
  • Develops and executes communications strategies and tactics, mapped to the business units’ sales & marketing objectives.  
  • Manage compliance to internal review processes 
  • Support annual budget planning and spend throughout the year. 
  • Manage key supplier relationships. 

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication or Marketing

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Minimum 1-3 years diverse B2B and communications experience which includes a broad range of both traditional and digital communications work 
  • Ability to travel 10 – 15% to support tradeshows and events #LI-KS1
