Are you a strong communicator who likes to think critically? Join our Life Sciences team as a Business Systems Analyst who serves as an important liaison between various internal departments and IT, leading the development and implementation of systems enhancements and changes. In this role, you will provide ongoing technical and process support and assist with the development and testing of software changes. You will also lead training to support new software implementation and drive the ongoing adoption. 


This is a hybrid role based in Mentor, Ohio, and requires working onsite 2 days per week. 

 

What will you do as a Business Systems Analyst?

  • Interact with all levels of the Life Science Business to identify system bugs and enhancements, including writing requirements documents and functional documentation, to ensure positive user experience.
  • Work with Operation Managers to identify process and system enhancements to meet business needs, including acting as the IT liaison.
  • Function as liaison with Marketing for implementation and support of on-line marketing programs, including scheduling of promotional campaigns, tracking of on-line metrics and reporting statistics.
  • Assist with the development, testing, and communication of system releases and upgrades.
  • Maintain and deliver field-facing training to support new systems enhancements or system implementation and support ongoing adoption.
  • Exhibit a commitment to the shared values of Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement through ensuring defect-free workmanship, assisting others to meet the customer’s needs, searching for efficient and effective ways to reduce waste, being active and accountable for customer satisfaction, and satisfying the customer’s needs with a sense of urgency.

What Skills, Abilities, and Experience will you need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related fields preferred. 
  • Minimum of three years related experience required.
  • In lieu of Degree, 8 years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst or similar role will be considered. 
  • Two years of analysis-related or project management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of administration, reporting, dashboards, and essential STERIS programs, including Oracle, Sales Connection, and Sugar CRM preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Oracle (or similar ERP system)
  • Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrates initiative and adaptability, and develops innovative solutions to problems
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Background in a CRM, Sugar CRM or SalesForce, preferred
