We are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales/ Account manager role. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at a professional level in a division that drives the business forwards through providing a best in class service to our customers.

 

The role of endoscopy consumables account manager includes managing hospital sales and developing hospital partnerships within a designated territory and promoting a wide portfolio of Endoscopy therapeutic/ decontamination products.  The account manager is responsible for protecting existing business and generating new opportunities to ensure sales targets are achieved or exceeded.  The products promoted are linked to the Cantel Complete Circle of Protection portfolio and our Infection Prevention education program.

What is involved

•    Being 90% field-based, the position involves a consultative sales approach to key personnel within Endoscopy/Decontamination/CSSD/Theatres/Procurement/Infection Prevention departments in NHS & Private Hospitals within the defined territory. 
•    Achieve or exceed performance objectives and sales target as set by the Endo Consumables Sales Manager.
•    Develop and plan regional sales strategies and build pipeline in conjunction with the active sales direction documents, utilising Customer Record Management system (CRM)/business plans and sales performance metric tools to monitor regional activity/opportunities, ensuring maximum sales penetration.
•    Develop and deliver quarterly reviews to ensure Budget Planner and/or Consignment customer contracts are being achieved.    
•    Communicate effectively on all sales-related activities including forecasting and competitive activity within the region.
•    Provide product training and infection prevention education, keeping knowledge current on relevant guidelines/standards.
•    Attend clinical procedures/lists to demonstrate products and support their use.
•    Work with Capital, IPT, Surgical, and Clinical counterparts to ensure high level engagement within key accounts. 
•    Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
•    Conduct all business-related activities in accordance with STERIS policies and core values.

Required

Degree level education or equivalent. 
Sales experience within Endoscopy/Therapeutic/Decontamination.

Experience in delivering education to customers within the NHS.Ability to effectively plan and capitalise on opportunities and counter competitive threats.
Full UK Driving Licence, and able to travel extensively across the region to maintain and grow the business (accommodating overnight stays for sales meetings and training).
Experience of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
Strong customer focus with good negotiation/communication/presentation skills.
Proficiency in relevant software programs (including CRM, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
