Position Summary

You  will need to create new reporting documentation which will require a good level of problem solving ability. There will be empowerment around setting deadlines and schedules with key stakeholders in the delivery of monthly reports. You will need to partner with EMEA Corporate Function leaders to review results and build forecasts and plans. The employee will need to review the accuracy & completeness of financial results and challenge finance teams to improve quality and consistency of accounting data.The role is required to support the Directors of Business Finance Healthcare and Corporate FP&A to ensure governance, compliance and internal controls operate effectively across EMEA. Hence the role acts in close collaboration with the EMEA FPA teams.

The position will also play a critical role working with the EMEA finance managers/business finance to ensure accuracy of reporting data. This role will also become involved in projects across EMEA with the opportunity to travel to our various sites.
This role will support Adhoc and routine analysis across the EMEA business, and support in forecasting and Planning Processes.

 

Duties

  1. EMEA financial analysis cutting across commercial and corporate P&Ls – for both BvA analysis, reforecasting and planning.
  2. Support EMEA Commercial Operations KPI dashboards in Tableau for monthly management business reviews.
  3. User in Tableau or Power BI reporting tools.
  4. Support the consolidation of various initiatives across the commercial teams within EMEA.
  5. Support EMEA HQ Accounting & Reporting.

Skills

  1. Part -Qualified / newly accountant with some commercial analysis experience.
  2. Technical Skills: experience of financial analysis, exposure to management reporting, analysis, month end close reporting and reforecasting.
  3. Personal Competencies:
    1. Strong team player, able to earn respect, maintain and build strong relationships.
    2. Operates confidently in a matrix environment and manages stakeholders with a no-surprises approach.
    3. Strong communicator both written and oral.
    4. Initiative and leadership, shows a “can-do” “Self Starter” attitude, able to work under pressure, plan and prioritize well.
  4. Technology – experience of finance, reporting and ERP systems.  Strong analytical skills – with an eye for the detail as well as the bigger-picture.
  5. Travel – some would be required to support the business across EMEA.

European language skills - a bonus.
