Position Summary

The Sales Manager at Suzhou will lead the local commercial team to execute a number of critical Commercial aims, which includes the following: 

  • Develop and implement sales programs to meet the Suzhou business objectives with focus on new business growth across existing key accounts and new accounts
  • Manage and coordinate the efforts of the entire sales team toward the accomplishment of business objectives.
  • Be instrumental in focusing internal Suzhou resources around service metrics.

Duties

  1. Sales Growth and Business Development – 60%
  • Develop sales plan for non-organic growth, execute sales plan, and achieve growth target.
  • Develop existing accounts to increase services band width and increase sales revenue.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities to ensure sales target completion and explore market potential continuously.
  • Collect marketing information to enrich the pipeline of competitor. 
  1. Sales & Account and Customer Service Management – 25%
  • Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team sales plan to achieve the revenue and profitability growth.
  • Review and ensure Account Receivable overdue days and amounts meet agreed KPI.
  • Coordinate complaint analysis and improvements on services and processes to ensure the overall customer experience excellence. 
  • Review the selected KPI’s of OTD and Right First Time with Operations to drive more effective forecasting and planning.

  1. Employee Engagement, Development, Management – 10%
  • Develop and deliver agreed performance targets for team members, positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
  • Ensure Global Performance Management System is up to date and regular check-in discussion or feedback and performance appraisal is provided to staff members. 
  • Monitor and manage absence levels, manning plan, recruitment and performance management of team members, working with HR to provide training, coaching and development plans. 
  • Lead and promote staff communication initiatives to improve employee engagement, which including team building, daily and monthly staff meetings etc. 
  1. Others – 5%
  • Handle other tasks from his supervisor when necessary.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Economics

Required Experience

  • Bachelor and above, major in commercial/business management and related is acceptable, prefer in Microbiology/Chemistry and related.
  • More than 10 years of sales, business development related working experience, with a minimum of 5-years in healthcare industry.
  • An established record in selling to East China medical device or services market is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience.
  • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts.  Good at assessing customer needs. 
  • Strong ability to identify and develop new customer/new business growth.
  • Abilities to manage key accounts and project sales or consultative selling.
  • Good command of negotiation, financial, mathematical, and business acumen skills needed.
