Job Title:  Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary

• To ensure X-Ray machines and related system are operated at optimize/ reliable condition.
• Minimize downtime of the machines to achieve Maintenance KPI
• Continuously improve on equipment maintenance to improve the efficiently and productively.
• To ensure all maintenance actives are safe to compliance with the local regulations and company HSE policy.

Duties

• Responsible for the maintenance and management of production equipment (e.g., IBA X-Ray sterilization system, conveyors system, Electronic /PLC/SCADA system and so on).
• Timely troubleshoot and resolve utility facilities and production equipment’s failure/problems in operations.  Ensure the stability and efficiency of maintenance systems, reducing unplanned downtime.
• Responsible for emergency unplanned breakdown, to recognize that the responsibility for site and plant is a 24-hours, 7-days week commitment and to be prepared to “call out” at any time
• Continuous improvement of works method and machine capability as results of reduce mean time between failure (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR) and troubleshoot cost.  
• Coordinate with machine manufacturer on any breakdown issue in the area of responsibility and carry out necessary action to improve machine performance as per proposed by machine manufacturer
• Provide training related with machine (operations/ safety and etc) to Maintenance and/or Production Team
• Provide technical solution related to breakdown issues in the area of responsibility.
• Provide an efficient interface with other departments to evaluate all upcoming capital projects and analyse and obtain required feedback for all equipment and layouts
• Responsible for drafting or revising the work instructions and operational procedures related to production equipment, writing repair and maintenance reports, and keeping completed records.

• Develop and continuously improve the preventive maintenance plan for production equipment and ensure timely & safely execution.
• This role supports complaint/CAPA investigations, quality improvement, operations production and process controls
• Work together with Quality to complete internal and external audits, including but not limited to customer audits and third-party professional audits.
• Responsible for all related instruments' calibration and special equipment management
• Provide analysis of critical spare parts and spare part stock control using PM tools to CMMS.
• Responsible for management of related sub-contractor and supplier. 
• Manage a safe working environment that results in attaining target of ZERO accident.

Education Degree

Required Experience

• Diploma or polytechnic with over 8 years maintenance work experience. 
• Or bachelor degree with over 5 years maintenance work experience.
• Major in mechanical/electrical technology or similar subjects; 
• Low-voltage electricity work certificate, high-voltage electrician duty certificate is required.
• Experience with the maintenance of facilities and production equipment.
• Knowledge or experience in Electric control and automation, PLC & SCADA , switching, RF and high frequency oscillator circuit
• Good knowledge and skill on preventive maintenance and total productive maintenance. 
• Demonstrate equipment troubleshooting skills and Excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge or experience in HSE procedure/ rules and regulations
• Good English skills, both reading and written.
